A heavy supply train grinds its way into the cut leading to Tunnel. When excessive weight was placed toward the front of trains, the North Arkansas would often split the engines to avoid overtaxing the trestles.

THE NORTH ARKANSAS...

The North Arkansas introduces V Scale Creations' "Iron Horse Series".

The Iron Horse Series will represent routes that hearken back to the days of Little Engines and Big Men. A time when railroads were expanding, towns were being born... Boom Times!

Those experienced with Microsoft(tm) Train Simulator (or "MSTS" for short) will find that railroading on a VSC route from the Iron Horse Series will be quite different than what you may be used to! For example, there are NO signals. All mainline movements are made by Train Orders! You'd better read your Train Orders carefully to avoid the infamous "Cornfield Meet"!

Another item for a North Arkansas railroader to be aware of will be the operating characteristics ("physics") of the equipment. That too, will reflect railroading "back then"! I tell 'ya, railroadin' "back then" t'weren't for the faint of heart or those lookin' fer a "gravy train"!

Say, would you like to see some SCREEN PICS? Great! Here'ya go...
